Job Description

We are partnering with a boutique luxury residential design studio in Manhattan, made up of a close-knit team of interior designers and architects.

They are looking for a talented Junior Interior Designer with a strong eye for both design and technical detail. You will bring a great vendor network, solid product and materials knowledge, and the confidence to jump in wherever the team needs you.

Responsibilities

Assist on all stages of luxury residential projects, from concept to installation
Produce and update drawings and technical documentation in AutoCAD
Source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and products
Manage vendor relationships, samples, quotes and orders
Prepare client presentations, mood boards and material schedules
Support coordination with architects, contractors and trades
Attend site visits and help with installation

Requirements

Experience in luxury residential interior design
Ideally some experience in a smaller studio, where you have worn many hats
Strong technical eye and attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes and products
An established vendor network
Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a big plus
Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver on time
